So I believe we are reading the Phaedo now (don't worry we will still be talking about the Alcibiades I as well) but make sure you come to class with you opinions of what the text is about. In other words, what is the dominating problem which all parties are concerned with and why? How does Socrates solve that problem and finally what conception of philosophy does Socrates advance? Why do you agree or disagree with this understanding of philosophy?
